  • What's the difference between the Study Tribe Package and the Membership Community?

    The "Membership Community Only" subscription gives you access to the community and all its benefits. The Study Tribe Package includes the same, plus monthly feedback sessions. The use of our Street Tactics logo and a website mention is optional for those who want it.

  • I have no interest in becoming a Study Tribe, why would I still join?

    With a Study Tribe Membership, you’re free to train the way that suits you best. Whether you prefer to explore the material solo, in a group, or train incognito, you’re in the right place. Your membership includes monthly feedback sessions and access to a growing database of exclusive content inside the member community. For those who want to start an official Study Tribe, the use of our Street Tactics logo and a website mention is available—but completely optional. If you want to train incognito and/or solo, you can see this package as a coaching program to get the best out of you and your training.

  • What's the point of a Study Tribe?

  • Can I call myself an Instructor when joining this Study Tribe?

    Study Tribe Members who use the Street Tactic Member logo are not yet full instructors. You can train with like-minded individuals and create your own training group and proudly show the world you’re studying our "Street Tactics" principles. It signifies you're part of a group dedicated to our material and affiliated with the School of Self Protection. In the future, we will offer instructor courses. To become an instructor, extensive real-life training is required. Only members of this community will have access to these future instructor courses.

  • How does it work with the feedback sessions?

    Each month, you can either send me a pre-recorded video for a detailed breakdown and personalized feedback, or choose a live Zoom session. All the details will be clearly explained once you’re inside.

  • How does it work with the Study Tribe logo?

    You have 4 options: Option 1: Train incognito and don’t use the Street Tactics logo. Option 2: Use our Street Tactics logo alongside your existing school's logo. This becomes your Study Tribe logo. Option 3: Create a completely new Study Tribe logo and incorporate our Street Tactics logo into it. Option 4: Use our provided Street Tactics "Plaque" featuring your city and country.

  • Can I cancel my subscription every month?

    Students can cancel anytime by logging into their account, going to "My Account" > "Billing", and clicking "Cancel" next to their active subscription.

MY BACKGROUND; Since I was 12 years old I was training in jujitsu and judo. Then around 16 years of age I made a transition to Boxing and Thai boxing, competing sometime later. This gave me a good understanding of striking and kicking. Experiencing multiple fights against multiple subjects on the street and the door gave me new insights and understanding between the difference of Martial arts/combat sports and real violence. My full-time Job as a doorman/supervisor and Intervention team member (for festivals and events) showed me the need to adapt the stuff that I learned in sport so that it worked for me under stress. Because of this need to adapt, I started to analyse what worked and what didn't! I quickly realized that it came down to keeping things simple and acquiring the right MINDSET! At the time I was already training in Krav Maga and I found out soon, that for me, nothing came out under real fight stress. I contacted Lee M to ask If he had somebody in Holland to teach me UC. This was not the case so I followed Lee Morrison for years on the international seminar circuit and started training with him directly when possible, so that I could grade and come on the UC Instructor program. Many, many hours of blood, sweat and tears and years later I am proud to call myself a Senior UC Instructor. Representing the UC curriculum all around the globe via seminars, workshops, group and private training. And now also via this online learning platform! Because more and more people understand the need for realistic self protection! Sometimes a teacher, Always a student — Michiel
